Privacy Policy
Last updated .
This page is a plain-language placeholder written by the operator of this site, not by a lawyer, and it has not been reviewed by counsel. It describes how we intend to operate. It is not a substitute for a reviewed privacy policy, and it makes no certification or compliance claim. If you need a definitive answer before signing up, contact us and ask.
The short version
We collect what's needed to build an athlete's or coach's recruiting profile, we show it only to the people you allow, and we don't sell it. Athlete profiles are private by default.
What we collect
- Account details — the account holder's name, email and password (stored hashed), and phone if you give it.
- Athlete profile details — name, school, level, grad year, city/state, height/weight and sport measurables, season statistics, jersey number, photo, film links and social handles.
- Private academic details — GPA and test scores, when you choose to enter them.
- Coach profile details — coaching history, certifications, philosophy, references, and (optionally) contract status and availability.
- Activity — messages, coach requests, consent records, and whether a profile link you sent was opened.
What is never made public
Regardless of your visibility setting, these are never shown on a public page:
- A date of birth — we never collect one. Graduation year ("Class of 2028") is the only age-related detail we hold.
- GPA and test scores.
- Email addresses, phone numbers and internal notes — a coach reaches you through us, and you decide whether to reply.
- Coach references, and any link a coach marked "Programs only" or "Private".
- Coach contract status and dates — shown only while a coach is both publicly visible and marked open to opportunities.
How we use it
- To build and display the profile as you've configured it.
- To show profiles to coaches you approve, or to coaches verified on our platform where you've allowed it.
- To contact you about your athlete's or your own recruiting, and to answer your questions.
- To operate and improve the service (security, support, fixing what's broken).
Who we share it with
Coaches and programs you've shared a profile with; brands only where you've opted into NIL; and service providers who host or send email for us, under contract. We do not sell personal information, and we don't share athlete information with advertisers. We disclose information if legally required to.
Children and minors
Athlete profiles routinely concern minors, which is exactly why the account is held by a parent or guardian and why profiles are private by default. A parent or guardian may review, correct, export or delete their athlete's information at any time, from the dashboard or by asking us. Our specific practices for younger children — including any age floor and the verifiable-parental-consent mechanism — are under legal review and will be stated here once that review is complete. We are not claiming certification under any children's privacy program.
Your choices
- Change visibility (public ⇄ private) at any time, effective immediately.
- Revoke a profile link you sent to a specific coach.
- Edit or remove any field, including deleting the profile entirely.
- Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you.
Retention and security
We keep profile information while the account is active, and remove it from viewing surfaces on deletion; limited copies may remain in backups for a period. Passwords are stored hashed and traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise.
Changes
We'll update this page as the service changes and after legal review, and we'll change the "last updated" date above.
